As a expressionistic painter of the 21st century Zoé Mac has stated, 'the paintings are the deep expression of what I have integrated with the knowledge and gift that God has given to me as an artist. Traveling from continent to continent has given me the opportunity to see astounding colors and meet wonderful people who have greatly touched my life. As a young painter starting out, I was deeply moved by the work of Vasily Kandinsky,Vincent VanGogh and Egon Shiele. Their spirits' touch me inspiring me to expound in my own work and vision. It is music in a visual form to see colors sing, shapes dance and lines intertwine creating a story, a message, or the intense expression of improvisational jazz or an orchestral symphony that unfolds; all to enjoy in a timeless way'.
