Andrew Edlin Gallery is pleased to present Conscious/Unconscious, a solo exhibition of the art of Etta Ehrlich. Running dates are September 21 - October 21, 2006 with an opening reception Thursday, Sept. 21st from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.

More recently, the artist has expanded her use of materials to include discarded windows, cigar boxes, vials , and other historical markers significant for their designs and former functions. Retired from their original purpose, Ehrlich uses these objects as vehicles for her powerful ideas and beliefs arrived at through a lifetime of devotion to the awareness of unconscious thought - being conscious of the unconscious.

Conscious/Unconscious is Etta Ehrlich's first solo gallery exhibition. Her work has been presented at several venues in New Jersey including Rutgers University.
