On March 25, 2008 the
Bowery Gallery, 530 West 25 St, NYC, will be presenting the recent work of artist
Robert Jessel. The show runs through April 19, 2008. Gallery hours are 11 am- 6pm Tues.- Sat.
Mr. Jessel’s recent paintings have developed into a new phase of independent objectivity. With his intimately related line and color, he bends his concept of visual sensation in still- life, portraits and landscapes to reveal diverse forms that ultimately lead to simplicity and unity. His figurative bronze sculpture “The Modern Game” reflects an ambitious grasp of the movement of form reminiscent of modernist perception.
