BravinLee programs is pleased to present new artist books by
Andrea Dezsö.
Born in Transylvania, Dezsö's astonishingly intricate and sophisticated book-objects express psychological and historical, narratives and include images and constructions from childhood memories of growing up under Soviet style communism. In this exhibition, "Living Inside," her books explore the notion of inhabiting spaces both physical and imaginary- living in the city, residing in her memories and within her own body.
Andrea Dezsö is an artist, writer and book artist who was featured last June in The New York Times. She is currently included in the group exhibition “Pricked– Extreme Embroidery” at The Museum of Art and Design in New York.
