Chappell Gallery is pleased to hold the first U.S. solo exhibition of the work of Australian artist, Hilary Crawford. A 2001 honors graduate of the National Institute of the Arts, ANU, Canberra, she has been an independent artist and teacher in Adelaide for the past 7 years. Her work has been widely exhibited in galleries throughout Australia, the U.S and in Europe and is in major private collections worldwide as well as in museums throughout Australia.

Her minimalist aesthetic is realized through her masterful skills in the manipulation of hot and cold glass. Her sculpture, a bold, contemporary interpretation of time-honored glass techniques, brings an ancient medium to new artistic heights that are increasingly realized by her generation of artists working in glass.
