The Incomplete
October 2, 2007- January 12, 2008
556 W 22nd St
It’s the start of the season in Chelsea, and many art galleries are having back to back openings. But to draw out the anticipation and withhold gratification to increase eventual pleasure, the
Chelsea Art Museum is opening a new exhibition in October! The Incomplete opens to the public on Tuesday October 2, 2007. Come out that day untill January 12, 2008, to see the show that has the art world abuzz!
The Incomplete, drawn from the Neumann family collection, will explore 4 generations of contemporary living artists in a new context. Emerging artists connect into a genre that began in the mid 80s with
Ashley Bickerton and
Jeff Koons, continuing today with
Karen Kilimnik,
Xavier Veilhan and Aya Uekawa and many others.
New catalog is available!
The Incomplete full color, 124 pages catalog is already available for purchase at the CAM bookstore. The cost is $ 25.
