Yale MFA Photography 2007
May 29, 2007- June 2, 2007
Reception: May 29, 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
521 W 26th St
For one week only,
Danziger Projects will be exhibiting work by the nine 2007 graduates of the Yale MFA Photography program. The two year program is considered one of the most serious and successful graduate art programs in the country and has turned out numerous well-known photographers.
The program is committed to a broad definition of photography as a lens-based medium open to a variety of expressive means. Students work both individually and in groups with faculty and visiting artists. In addition, a critique panel composed of faculty and other artists or critics meets weekly, as well as for a final review each term, to discuss student work.
The work to be exhibited covers a wide range of styles and includes both photography and video.
