Dia Art Foundation was founded in 1974. A nonprofit institution, Dia plays a vital role among visual-arts organizations nationally and internationally by initiating, supporting, presenting, and preserving art projects, and by serving as a locus for interdisciplinary art and criticism.
Dia's exhibition program, currently suspended, is principally dedicated to large-scale, single-artist projects, produced on a substantial scale and with a commitment to site specificity. Exhibitions are long-term, usually with a duration of one year to allow for repeated visits and the opportunity to view the work over an extended period of time. Following please find information on past exhibitions. |
