547 W 27th StDINTER FINE ART is pleased to present an exhibition of drawings featuring works by the following artists: a series of small gouache portraits by Gwen Hardie; a large work on paper by Donald Baechler from 1982; a small of group of drawings by Aga Ousseinov, re-inventing or metamorphosing machines; recent watercolor works on board by Nicolas Rule; a group of colored pencil and collage works on paper by David Dupuis, extending his theme of the "Potter's Field"; a group of gouaches by Brenden FitzGerald, evoking distant galaxies, but in fact exploring the manifestation of "zero".
All works have in common the immediate involvement of the artists "hand", revealing it's movements while exploring an idea. They are executed within that distance between the eye and hand which gives drawing it's particular directness and intimacy.
