Project Room: Online ExhibitionGrace Brown's last letter was written on July 6, 1906. On July 11, she journeyed with Chester Gillette, her boyfriend, to Big Moose Lake in the Adirondacks where she was either murdered or committed suicide. Chester was later apprehended as he vacationed alone at a nearby hotel.
