WHAT: Art party, live concert, large-screen projections and interactive art, world launch of BoozBot-conversational confidante and bartending robot.
MIXER is Eyebeam's quarterly series dedicated to showcasing leading performing artists in the fields of experimental live video and audio.
All three acts in the June 14 MIXER-the third in the series-embrace collage as both audio and visual technique. "They represent hybrid approaches to electronic music that incorporate heavy doses of funk, soul, and dance music as well as experimental composition; hip-hop and musique concrete; electro and collage," said Paul Amitai, who organized the event.
