The G.R. N’Namdi Gallery is pleased to announce its 25th Anniversary Exhibition “Forms of Abstraction” on view until March 31st, 2007. An Artist Panel Discussion is scheduled for March 24th from 3-5pm.

G.R. N’Namdi Gallery was established in 1981 by George R. N’Namdi with the mission of bringing awareness to the value of collecting fine art. Throughout the years the gallery has stayed committed to developing the public’s appreciation for abstract art. Staying true to that philosophy G.R. N’Namdi Gallery has since built some of the country’s most prestigious art collections and has placed works of many artists in numerous major museums. Teaming with his son, Jumaane E. N’Namdi, the gallery has expanded from its original location in downtown Detroit to Chicago’s West Loop and New York’s Chelsea art district. While G.R. N’Namdi Gallery continues to enrich many established collections, they stay committed to introducing the novice to the world of collecting fine art.
This 25th Anniversary Exhibit will feature the works of many of the artists the gallery has had the pleasure of exhibiting since its conception. Artists include

These artists individually appear in numerous public, corporate and private collections including The Metropolitan Museum, The Museum of Modern Art, The Studio Museum of Harlem, The Whitney Museum of American Art, The Art Institute of Chicago and The Detroit institute of Arts, just to name a few. Their work has been recognized through national and international fellowships, grants and awards.
