Russian-born Olga Antonova selects her subjects from the antique markets of France and America. Her jewel-like still life paintings feature richly rendered arrangements of silver ladles, porcelain cups, and teapots. Antonova was trained at the Repin Institute in St. Petersburg, Russia. This will be her eighth exhibition at Gallery Henoch.
Silas Kopf recently completed his fifth art case grand piano for Steinway and Sons. The piano was sold by Christie’s at a benefit auction for the Henry David Thoreau Foundation. Kopf’s work displays an inventive balance of historical sensibility and infectious humor.
