Gallery Henoch is pleased to announce JUXTAPOSITION, an exhibition of five figurative artists.

The show includes painters Eric Zener, Stephen Wright, and Sharon Sprung alongside sculptors Don Gale and Kathy Ruttenberg.

The exhibition will take place October 5th - 29th, 2006. A reception for the artists will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2006.

Curator George Henoch Shechtman chose as his focus artists who reveal their intentions through the human form. In encountering the figure, each introduces us to aspects of his or her distinctive vision, including the theoretical, the spontaneous and fanciful, and sometimes the allegorical. Because the works are varied, showing them collectively allows their differences to emerge while maintaining an overall sense of their commonality.
