Gallery Henoch is pleased to announce the NEW TALENT exhibition, a show highlighting the painters
Richard Combes,
Emil Robinson,
John Klinkose,
Katherine Doyle,
Andrew Wrigley,
Simon Nicholas and
Kim Cogan. The exhibition will run February 15 – March 10, 2007. A reception for the artists will be held February 17, from 6 – 8 pm.
Gallery Henoch has selected seven painters who stand out for their imagination and distinctive personal approach. These artists reflect the vitality of the realist movement and exemplify the energy and exciting promise of a new generation of painters. The artists range considerably in style.
Simon Nicholas nears abstraction with his depictions of buildings crowded with people. Similarly,
Kim Cogan’s paint-dripped cityscapes show the world as seen by a speedy passerby. Life’s more tender moments are captured in the works of
Katherine Doyle and
Andrew Wrigley. Both vividly render their subjects in intimate situations, be they lounging couples or isolated females. Overall, the artists offer images that serve as unique contemplations on our shared reality, through a means that compliments
Gallery Henoch’s commitment to an art based on individual style and sensibility.
