DARFUR/DARFUR is a traveling exhibit giving viewers a unique chance to experience the imagery of Darfur in a multimedia environment that both educates about the horrors of warfare and celebrates a richly multi-cultural region.
The
James Cohan Gallery is pleased to invite you to DARFUR/DARFUR, a traveling exhibit of digitally-projected changing images that provide visual education about the richly multi-cultural region, while exposing the horrors of the ongoing humanitarian crisis.
The event will present a dramatic projection of photographs taken in Darfur by former U.S. Marine
Brian Steidle and photojournalists Lynsey Addario,
Mark Brecke,
Helene Caux,
Ron Haviv, and
Paolo Pellegrin, accompanied by traditional Sudanese music. This is a one night event.

Funds raised in connection with Darfur/Darfur will be used to provide advocacy for solutions to the crisis in Darfur and to assist NGOs providing on the ground medical and social care in the region.
