| Founded 1985 by Douglas K. Walla. We are pleased to announce our relocation to the Chelsea Gallery district. Our new location is 541 West 25th Street adjacent to the new Betty Cunningham Gallery, and across the street from Pace Gallery. We look forward to continuing a provocative exhibition program largely of mid-career artists both of national as well as international stature. We are also continuing our publishing program with a series of pocket size hard bound publications with approximately one to two new titles per year. Kent Fine Art was founded in New York in 1985. Opening in tandem with the Robert Miller Gallery, Kent completed a dramatic renovation of the third floor of the historic Fuller Building located at Madison and 57th Street. Mounting historical shows referencing contemporary trends (Medardo Rosso, Francis Picabia, Henry Moore, John Heartfield) the gallery collaborated with writers and artists completing over 35 monographs and artist’s projects. |
