In November 2005 Regis Krampf and Beatrice Pei inaugurated a new space, Krampf-Pei Gallery in Chelsea, New York. The gallery deals exclusively with contemporary art and is committed to exhibiting the work of established and emerging artists from around the world.
The dynamic partnership was created two years prior and combines a passion for art with years of significant professional experience in New York and Paris. Regis Krampf worked at Christie's, London, Paris and New York, Metro Pictures Gallery and Tony Shafrazi Gallery, New York. Beatrice Pei's career began in art and fashion journalism in Paris with Harper's Bazaar and later Beaux Art Magazine. Since then she has been actively involved in the development of Pei Partnership Architects and she is currently working on a remarkable new museum project in Paris that focuses on the history of slavery.
Together Regis Krampf and Beatrice Pei have created an exciting new platform for contemporary art, contributing to the creative dialogue between artists, audiences, and institutions. |
