Madison Square Park

Mad. Sq. Art is a free gallery without walls presented by the Madison Square Park Conservancy in the historic 6.2-acre Madison Square Park in Manhattan. Over the last three years, Mad. Sq. Art has offered exhibitions of new work by Mark di Suvero (2004), Sol LeWitt (2005), Jene Highstein (2005-2006) and Ursula von Rydingsvard (through February 2007). Mad. Sq. Art helps the Madison Square Park Conservancy meet its goal of keeping the park busy, safe and thriving for the community. Mad. Sq. Art and other cultural programs funded by the Conservancy drive the heightened community involvement with the park so crucial to sustaining the recent restoration.
