In the new project room, Marvelli Gallery is pleased to present Out Come, the solo exhibition of American artist Fox Grimshaw. The exhibition will feature recent paintings.

In between pure abstraction and pictorial imagery, Grimshaw’s paintings have a syncretic, original style with a clear focus on mark-making and process. The muted, unyielding palette conveys seriousness and intensity.

In the centerpiece of the show, Backyard, the memory of a walk at night becomes the starting point for the creation of an apparently naïve landscape in which the sophisticated layering of always-changing marks create a vibrant surface.

This will be Fox Grimshaw’s first solo exhibition.
