This show was conceived as a festival of youthful energy and chaotic harmony. The work comes from different artists with various visions, but when shown together, interesting contrasts and similarities create a playful, inspired collective.
Christopher Brooks paints slick, up-in-your-face monochromes with a kinky edge.
Samantha Casolari's photographs show a dreamlike reportage from the Burning Man art festival in Nevada with a Mad Max feel.
Peter Demos contributes with two stylistic black-on-black monochromes that explore the border between Pop and Minimalism.
David Mramor juxtaposes photographed tombstones with drawings of anonymous unclothed men to express the classical contrast of Eros and Thanatos in a contemporary context.
Scott Penkava transforms a rock sensibility of desecration and self-doubt into an elaborate, complex sculpture situated somewhere between fact and fiction.
Thuridur Sigurthorsdottir's objects bring cosmic physics down to Earth.
Thor Sigurthorsson's deceptively simple assemblages find equilibrium and elegance in the banal and ordinary.
