Nancy Burson presents images from her Vibhuti Series 2005. Vibhuti is the sacred ash that falls miraculously from the hands of Indian Masters such as Sathya Sai Baba. The Vibhuti in these images was produced by Irish Swami Derek O'Neill. Burson explains that Derek magically creates a never-ending supply of Vibhuti, as the substance infinitely expands with or without his presence. Photography is a documentation of reality, showing true life in its material form.
