Ken Jenkins is a largely self-taught artist, experimenting with abstract painting starting in 1996. Abstraction and form come together in the artist’s current series of paintings, (in progress) that features figurative forms that seem to emerge from abstract textures."In my work I express the idea that life is flourishing all around us and if we would just awaken to the present moment, our minds would open to the myriad of possibilities and radiant bliss available to us.
