In Memory Of Arlene Raven.

This show is dedicated to the memory of Arlene Raven. In 1991, Arlene juried the first National Juried Competition by the Phoenix Gallery. The prize was a solo show at the Phoenix. I was a winner of that competition and subsequently was invited to become a member of this gallery.

Arlen Raven was a noted art historian and art critic. To me she was an adored mentor. She passed away in August 2006. I am forever grateful to have known her. I miss her at this show, but I know she is here with us.
