Look & Listen 5th Annual Festival

May 4, 2006

Robert Miller Gallery

524 W 26th St
Performance is at 8pm
"The Look & Listen Festival exemplifies the Lower Midtown sound at its best: accessible and uncompromising, populist and antisocial, fiendishly complex and instantly hummable, ethereally sublime and grindingly hot." - Alex Ross, The New Yorker Music Critic, from his blog, "The Rest is Noise"

>> The Look & Listen Festival has previously taken place in a single art gallery over the course of three nights. This year the Festival presents music in the company of different visual artists each night. Also, for the first time, visual artists whose work is showing in the gallery participate in panel discussions at the Festival, providing the opportunity for the audience to hear the artists speak about their work and the effect music has on it.

>> The 2006 Look & Listen Festival takes place in three concerts over three days, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, May 4, 5, & 6, at 8 pm each night. David Lang and Suzanne Bocanegra deliver the Keynote Address on the final evening of the Festival. The 2006 Festival programs are:
