Special Event: Saturday, November 24, 11am-6pm MaryBeth Edelson superimposes an event from the 70s with John Cage into the scores of music being created at White Box. This 70s event, was the annual recital of Gertrude Stein held at Paula Cooper's gallery, in which pairs of readers alternatively read Stein aloud --on this occasion it was Edelson and Cage reading. Today, Edelson recreates this reading with Cage while moving into invite the general audience to take over the performance.
