Young, New York emerging artists comment through their
bold and explicit works on their present-day art scene
environs: the socio-political and aesthetic conditions they live
in, the economic realities, the mores and regulations they
must abide by, the fine line they must tread often and to
maintain their own credibility, dissenting upon the very
essence of what they must feed on... playing with and
bending the rules by which they must conform, live, and
behave in order to "belong and be an active part of the 'art
landscape.'" This treacherous territory will be their field of
operations and exploration, in turn offering the viewer a deep
look into the existential realms of the life of a young artist
under the most exasperating modern day market conditions.
