ZieherSmith, in collaboration with Winnipeg’s othergallery, presents Collage Party. Participating artists include: Brian Belott, Paul Butler, Daniel Dueck, dearraindrop, Michael Dumontier, Simon Hughes, Josh Jefferson, Misaki Kawai, Jeff Ladouceur, Timothy Marvel Hull, Taylor McKimens, Jason McLean, Shawna McLeod, Daniel O’Connor, Rachel Owens, Javier Piñón, Maeghan Reid, Karin Weiner, & Adrian Williams.
In the preceding week, ZieherSmith’s Chelsea gallery will be transformed into a temporary atelier for assemblage, where the invited artists can experiment, collaborate and celebrate the fruitful terrain of collage techniques. After this week of studio time, the gallery will be open to the public with an exhibition of the work produced.
Also, currently on view at White Columns are Paul Butler's collages made entirely of found scraps from previous Collages Parties.
