Photographing since she picked up her mother's camera at age 10, Allison Evans soon discovered that the camera seemed to "see" more than her eye did. And gave the everyday world more significance and importance: “first by stopping everything in that moment, and second, through the reading of the image itself. “
Allison studied at the New England School of Photography and Harvard University's Visual and Environmental Studies Department. She then went on to receive her BFA in Photography from the Massachusetts College of Art. |
