Victoria Calabro's installations function like dioramas, panoramas, or formal exhibits where the viewer enters an environment. In this setting drawings, prints, and cast objects made of glass, metal and rubber, are being used as devices to facilitate a complete experience. She received an MFA in Fine Art from New York University in 2006. Her work as been exhibited at The John Michael Kohler Art Center Museum in Wisconsin as well as galleries in New York, Massachusetts, Indiana and Pennsylvania. She has several pieces in the permanent collection at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida. Victoria was born in Houston, Texas and currently lives and works in New York City. | |
