Dan Mills (American, b. 1956) makes issue-oriented art that has focused on politics in recent years. Series include: US Future States, satirical critique of global imperialism; and American Icons, portraits combining political figures and comic characters.
Recent solo shows: "American Icons and Morphs" at Zolla/Lieberman Gallery in Chicago; "Empire" at Lynchburg College, VA and Millersville University, PA.
