Gary Kulak is an internationally recognized artist who graduated from Cranbrook Academy of Art, Bloomfield Hills, Michigan in 1975 and achieved his MFA from Hunter College, NYC, in 1983.
He currently is a teacher and artist-in-residence at Cranbrook-Kingswood High School and lives with his wife Denise in Birmingham, Michigan. He works from 4 studio locations in Birmingham, Bloomfield Hills, Frankfort, and Detroit, Michigan.
Large scale public works include Transformational Link, Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, MI; County Seat in Mt. Clemens, MI; and Barn Chair in Thompsonville, MI.
Gary shows his work with G.R. N'Namdi Gallery in Detroit, Chicago, and NY. His work is also a part of the Smithsonian Collection, Detroit Institute of Arts, and other private collections including Lila and Gil Silverman.
