"Laurel Garcia Colvin is a wonderful artist whose encaustic works, sculptures and assemblages draw people in by their sheer beauty, their spiritual depth and romantic nature and their meticulous proficiency. I have now visited Ms. Garcia Colvin’s studio a number of times as well as having attended several of her exhibitions. I have seen a consistent positive reaction on the part of the viewing audience. Her works bridge the classical school of art with contemporary technology and genre."
