Matthias Müller: Multi-Media Poet
A Two-Day Interdisciplinary Conference and Retrospective Presented by Boston University and the Goethe-Institute, Boston September 29-30, 2006 The Boston University College of Communication would like to announce that we are holding a two-day conference and retrospective on the work of Matthias Müller entitled "Matthias Müller: Multimedia Poet." Müller is one of Germany's leading multi-media artists. Famous for his shorts, he has also worked in video and photography. Müller has, since the late 1980s, made a name for himself around the world with a wide variety of topics and treatments, ranging from lyrical explorations of the self to witty and subversive found footage appropriations of classical Hollywood movies.
