Scott Siken has created sculptures, drawings, paintings and most recently photography from his studio in Tribeca, New York City. All of the images in his current series “Lith Prints” are photographic. There are no digital images. Rigging various filters, which he creates and places in front of the camera lens, enables him to direct certain intended areas of sharpness, increase flare, texture and abstract forms. Using the Technique of Lith Printing, an Alternative Photographic Method, each image is printed with an amplified poignancy. This creative process is conceived to increase emotional content.
